This page has a few types of bottles, bottle caps and bottle cappers. The most popular bottles and least expensive are the amber colored 12oz long neck bottles that require caps. I have listed those below as well as the bottles with permanent flip caps and seals that never require the standard crimp on caps. If you notice, I have only listed amber colored bottles, as the clear bottles are not good for your beer as the UV light will affect the flavor of your beer. Don’t forget your sanitizer and labels which are both listed on this page.
12 oz. Amber Longneck Glass Bottles (Pack of 24)
You’ll want the case of 24 for at least a 2 gallon kit. If you brew more than that (up to 5 gallons) you’ll want at least 2 of these cases. Don’t forget your bottle caps and capper. It doesn’t appear that these have any labels with them and if you need some they are in this list as well as some sanitizer to clean these between every use.
Crutello 16 oz. Flip Top Glass Amber Beer Bottles (Pack of 12)
These bottles are great because you never need to buy caps or a capper for these. The flip top cap can be used over and over again. They are made with a rubber gasket and a steel mechanism for helping seal in carbonation. It looks like you can even ferment in these because of their durability. Please note that these are 16oz bottles so you may not need as many of these as you would the 12oz bottles. YEBODA 32 oz. Flip Top Glass Amber Beer Bottles (Pack of 4)

Manual Bottle Capper Tool, Double Lever Hand Capper with 144 Gold Beer Bottle Caps for Home Brewing
Here is a bottle capping kit that includes the capper and 144 gold caps. A pretty good deal for the first time you have to buy a capper.
This is a pretty standard capper and the one I use most of the time. It has a magnet on it to hold the cap in place while you’re crimping it on the bottle.
These are pretty standard bottle caps that I have used many times. The 144 count is pretty standard and you’ll be glad you bought this many because at some point you’ll forget to order caps as you’re getting ready to bottle.

Beer Bottle Labels – 2 Part – 32 Pack
These labels come in 2 parts – there is a label for the neck and for the body of the bottle. They are customizable and there are (4) 2-part labels per each 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet and there are 8 sheets for a total of 32 labels. These are compatible with inkjet or laser printers. The special adhesive will stay on while wet and during aging, but can easily be peeled off for reusing bottles. There are free templates online you can use for creating your labels. This was always one of the most fun parts of brewing for me, to get creative and come up with fun designs.
STAR SAN by Five Star High Foaming Sanitizer
Star San is a Phosphoric Acid based sanitizer that is essential in keeping your equipment clean and sanitized. This is a high, self-foaming, acid-based, no-rinse sanitizer that is effective and easy to use. It’s odorless, flavorless and biodegradable. I like to make a solution of it in a squirt bottle to spray on my equipment as I’m brewing. This is available in 4oz, 8oz, 16oz, 32oz and 1 gallon sizes
